Oh... I forgot how much work an infant is. But it is also a lot of fun! Jayda is two weeks old today. I think that all of us are doing well and adjusting to life with a newborn. Honestly, I think Jackson has adjusted the best. He LOVES to help his little sister. Last night, we gave Jayda her first "tub bath". Jackson was a big help! : ) Poor girl had soooo much soap on her, I thought I was going to need to hose her off. Jayda still has a little "day/night" confusion going on, so that has made for some LONG nights and even LONGER days trying to keep her awake. I keep reminding myself "this too shall pass." She will eventually sleep all night and not need to eat every 2-3 hours (yikes!!!) A good friend of mine once told me, "If you can get through the first 6 weeks with a baby, you can get through anything." I'm holding on to that thought and just trying to enjoy the ride - sleep deprived and all!

Jayda Brooklyn Agee - January 13, 2010

The Agee family is proud to introduce our newest addition, Jayda Brooklyn Agee. Jayda was born on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 3:22 pm. She weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. We just got home from the hospital today due to Jayda having jaundice. She needed to stay an extra night in the hospital to get some phototherapy. We are ALL home now and loving our time together as a family of FOUR!
