Jackson has a tough time saying "pumpkins", it comes out more like "pun-kins". Too cute! He's been waiting to go the "Pun-kin Patch" for weeks now. We drive by it almost everyday on the way to school and he always yells, "Mommy stop! Pun-kins!" So, today we finally got to go play among the pumpkins. Jackson loved roaming around the pumpkins and posing for pictures (a first!) However, when we got home and started to carve our pumpkin... he was less excited! At first, he jumped right in and seemed ready to dig out the pumpkin guts, but after one touch all we heard was "Yucky!" "I don't like it!" : ) Oh well, it was still fun creating our jack-o-lantern and baking our pumpkin seeds. Happy Halloween!

It's Circus Time
This past week was MEA, so Jackson and I had Thursday and Friday off. Paul took Friday off, so we went to the Circus This was Jackson's first big event at the Target Center. He was in awe of everything, especially all of the flashing lights and loud people (kids!) I think Jackson's favorite act was the high wire motorcycles. They drove their motorcycles right above our heads. It was a little more than Mom could watch -- yikes! But not Jackson, he cheered and clapped the whole time. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a picture of them, they were moving too fast and it was too dark in there. Oh well, use your imagination! : )

Afton Apple Orchard
The Agee family ventured out into the crisp Fall air to check out the apples and pumpkins at the Afton Apple Orchard. It was surprisingly comfortable out there. Jackson had a blast climbing the hay bales, playing on the HUGE playground, feeding the animals, watching apple cider being pressed, and taking a hayride out into the orchards. He literally had a smile on his face from the time we got out of the car until we got back into the car. I think he was also asleep before we turned onto the highway. Oh, it's good to wear him out! : )

Weekend at Grandpa's
Jackson and I spent the weekend up in Breckenridge visiting Grandpa Schill, Auntie Whitney and "the cousins." I think everyone had a great time and played HARD! On Saturday, we all went garage sale shopping. Eight families around my Dad's block were having garage sales -- amazing deals! Jackson found a chainsaw and a motorcycle toy, that he just HAD TO HAVE! I thought they were fun too, until hour two of "vroooom!" and "put on your helmet and crank it up!" Yikes!! I can see why those toys were for sale. Later that night, the three amigos decided to seranade us on the piano. It was music to our ears! : )

It's a...
GIRL!!! Yes, we found out last week that we are expecting a baby girl this January! We are so excited and ready for the new adventure. Jackson went with us to the ultrasound, but was less than impressed. He was more concerned with the fact that I was laying on a high table with my tummy hanging out. He kept saying, "Mommy, get down. You get hurt!" : ) The only part of the whole experience he enjoyed was listening to the baby's heart beat! "Shhhhh! What's that?"
New Bike Helmet
The last few days when I've gone to pick up Jackson from Honey's (daycare), he greets me at the door with someone's bike helmet. It's so stinkin' cute (and funny looking!) So today, I surprised him by getting him his own helmet. Boy, was he happy! He wore it all the way home from Honey's, on his four wheeler in the backyard, coloring with chalk on the sidewalk, and all during supper. He's quite the little "safety" nut! : )
MN State Fair
Last weekend, we went to the MN State Fair. This was Jackson's third trip! We were a little sleep deprived when he was first born and took him when he was just 2 weeks old. Yikes! Anyway... he enjoyed the Fair much more this year. His favorite part was "Machine Hill" and all of the cool John Deere tractors and riding lawn mowers. Vrooooooom!!!
